Twitter is one of the most anticipating social networks existed in the history of internet today. There were millions of members already who registered in this amazing  social networking program that focuses on one thing, in which they ask you a question “What are you doing?” As you can see that there’s a message board on the upper part of your main account page, not your profile, it’s what we call “Tweet”. It is a unique term used for Twitter itself, and they assure you that you can “Tweet” as much as you want, based on your interests. If you are interested on sports, then you are only connected to a group who are interested on sports only, or if you are interested on business, then you’re only connected to a group who are interested on business only.

As for me, I “Tweet” to promote my blogs, websites, hoplinks, affiliate programs and other programs which I can drive traffic through it. But there are certain things in order to make your link very unique, and that is to shorten your links. But how to shorten them?

It’s quite simple actually, you need to register on the following programs I’ve recommended:

1. TinyURL

2. Bit.Ly

These are sites that will automatically generate your links for sure. All you need to do is to register an account for free, and to insert your long or short URL of your main website or blog..and WALAA! Your short link has been created. It started with the website (Bit.Ly or TinyURL.com) with the respective number after the slash of the website.

More and more people are successful through their “Tweets” by using short links like TinyURL and Bit.Ly, and it keeps on coming until somebody follows you and you will generate more followers than you ever imagine. You can also put your short link URL in your ReTweet button, which will allow them to tweet your article or blog title in your website or blog, and it makes simple for just using short links.

Using long links are not good enough, but instead the shorter your links are, more space will be followed in the Twitter’s message board.

    Thanks Daniel!

I never thought that using these short links are really worth to promote your own website, blog, hoplinks or referral links too. Maybe I could use them to Tweet my Clickbank hoplinks next time. Great post!

Since Twitter uses no-follow attributes, still you get traffic by shortening your links. I use Bit.Ly for promoting my Amazon, Clickbank and Commission Junction products as it increase my web traffic and potential sales too.

    Nice work Daniel!
