I had looked around a fair bit at other social networking sites related to travel and there was nothing really that striked me, apart from Wayn and Travel Pod.
So it wasn’t before long I was able to get into the list on Wikipedia (Impressive for a site that is only over 1 month old) as you can see because of our name Exploroo we are directly above Facebook , this has happened just as a matter of coincidence, the odds are really about 1 in a million.
So after searching in google for the keywords “Travel Social Networking” I decided to buy the domain TravelSocialNetworking.com, to my surprise this was available! This keyphrase has around 90,400,000 websites competing . It was shortly after I also secured even my own Facebook url aswell . This is big for us, particularly Frank who wants to rival Facebook, you can see he had also taken on his personalised URL in Facebook.
You can never knock someone like this with big ambition. Already on first page of google for the keywords “Travel Australia” and soon to be for “Global Travel“, going up each few days by around 40,000 in Alexa is also very promising.

Hey Gav, Wiki now has a hotline, you just simply call them and they add you!
On a serious note, not an easy task at all. You need some reputable media source, more than one, usually a min of 3-4 before they will even consider, on top of everything else!
Dan you really do some great works for the people. yeah i m so eager to see that you were added in wiki so soon by just calling you.
