How To Make SEO Better For Your Business?

Tags: ,

There is always a need for a certain type of understanding before moving ahead with any type of SEO strategy. The first is understanding what the problems with the site are, and the second is knowing what can or cannot be done to fix them.

When putting together your options for moving forward, understanding these facts will help you sort out which options are viable and which are not. Moving forward without being fully aware of all the facts leads to poor decisions based off of an incomplete or poorly thought about set of options.

Think about the consequences of each action. As an SEO they must be fully aware that every change to a site could have potentially negative consequences. One example is changing url structure to be more seo friendly url’s.  Granted most strategies have been proven to produce a positive impact on web-sites, but this isn’t true 100% of the time. Some changes will have a positive long-term impact but have a severely negative short-term effect.

Seven of the hardest thing to do in SEO is to manage expectations properly. An SEO selling their services will often promise miracles to get the sale but then tell the client not to expect miracles at all. SEO is seldom a magic solution and sometimes what they think will be an easy job turns out to be anything but. It’s like peeling back the layers of an onions. You get seven problem solved and that uncovers several more problems.

Make sure your expectations don’t exceed your potential and your resources. As they say, time is money. Time is your most limited and valuable resource. Don’t waste it. SEO isn’t difficult but it does need knowledge. Most of that knowledge is available for free, but that doesn’t take in to consideration the cost of your time to learn it, implement it and then to ensure each strategy is performing effectively.

Every small business owner has this dilemma. How much should they do themselves versus how much can they afford to hire somebody to do for them. When it comes to SEO, the business owner must pick how much of their own time can be dedicated to doing the detailed work, or if their time is better spent elsewhere, like walking the business.

The first is that you may be wrong. Shocker! Whether you’re wrong about implementing this strategy over that strategy, or choosing seven path over another, you must be content with knowing that at some point or another you’ll make a bad decision. Nobody is 100% perfect 100% of the time. Some SEO strategies are implemented based on past performance from other sites, but there is no guarantee that the same strategy will work for this site. Be prepared to be wrong. Permit yourself a 10% risk of being wrong, a 50% likelihood of something going wrong, and a 100% commitment to survive it all.

4 Aggressive Strategies For SEO and Link Building

Tags: ,

Using one-way link building for SEO is the most important factor for getting highly ranked page results. Google for example gives page results based on the popularity of a link, the page rank of a link, the authority of the link and the relevant pages linking to your site.

Tip #1 (Popularity)

What your website really wants is a consistent amount of natural links that is gained over a period of time. This ensures your site is growing consistently and proving to be popular. More to the point, you need to gain links from other popular sites including high alexa ranked sites. Just go to alexa.com and view the top sites that you can join and contribute on. Some maybe yahoo answers, Wikipedia or any site that can drive some branding to your site.

Tip #2 (Page Rank)

The quality of your PR in those sites you are linking with must appear natural to various search engines. You must choose and link websites carefully with high PR preferably 6,7,8 & 9+. You need also to seek more links from a good range of websites with both high and low PR values for the links to appear natural.

Tip #3 (Authority)

Gaining links from .gov .edu sites are all natural methods that happen over time. Other methods of authority are local community sites and charity organizations. You also want to have blog reviews and forum posters naturally saying that your site is great and posting links to your site in social communities. Articles and press releases are also a great way to gain authority.

Tip #4 (Relevancy)

80% of sites that link to you should be relevant and should be from relevant content pages. You want to continually seek partnerships especially when starting out. Gaining a backlink from a directory for example from a relevant category pointing to your site is a proven relevant link. This is just 1 example of many relevant links you should be looking at gaining.

Choosing Profitable Keywords Is A Gamble

Tags: ,

You will spend your heart and soul choosing either competitive or less competitive keywords. Either way it is still a risk. If you choose competitive keywords with higher click through rate you still need to be prepared for the maintenance. It’s one thing to get 1st page position, it’s another to maintain it. If you go for less competitive keywords and the results are slim, then you will need to spend time again shooting for other keywords again and again. In my experience shooting for long tail keyowrds is the key as it is more defined.

You can never say that if your on the 1st page you will get so many clicks to your site and make so many sales.

But performing keyword research is really the gamble you take before you invest your time and money on reaching top position to find out later it is extremely hard to keep it in that position and if it is bringing the return you were hoping for. Most people think that using targeted keywords are easy. For example, “SEO” gets an estimated 20,000 searches a day while “SEM” gets an estimated 9,700 searches a day. If your gut tells you to target “SEM”, you may get higher rankings quicker, but it would only get you half of the results that you have, if you targeted and ranked well for “SEO“.

Remember that even though SEM has less searches it may also be just as difficult or more to get you 1st page position because the sites that you need to out-beat on the 1st page may have more relevant, high page rank and authority backlinks then the sites that are on 1st page for the keywords SEO. So before you choose the keywords also take that into consideration.

There are keywords that are out there and are not able to rank well and the amount of link building needed may not be as significant, regardless of your optimization performance just do your research on this before making the final decision.

There are 2 main aspects for keyword researching. The first aspect is popularity, on how keywords actually searched more often. For Google, Yahoo, and MSN, it’s really unfortunate that we don’t share the actual number of searches for targeted keywords. However, there are some online tools which are generally accurate and Google offers a free tool called Google Keyword Analyzer Tool, which gives an approximate number of searches for various keywords.

Other keyword popularity tools uses search data from a number of smaller and second-rated search engines along with few algorithms which can predict on how many searches are being made for various keywords you use. It’s not perfect, but it gives you an idea of which keywords are most popular in the internet. Since Google’s figures come from, they’re probably most accurate, but even figures are only estimates and we found that some of the keywords returns like “Not enough data” results. You may wish to use both Google and another keyword popularity tool.

The second aspect for keyword researching is through competition research. Competition research starts with web page analysis to determine how competitive your website is for any various keyword you use and attach. Sometimes, it referred to as page strength. The next step is to examine some keywords in order to see how competitive they are. This is sometimes called keyword difficulty. If we determine keyword difficulty, it would be done partially by examining how competitive the pages that ranks well for this keyword, though other methods can be helpful as well in the internet.

How Search Engines Trust Your Website?

Tags: ,

Spending days of stuffing Meta tags, hidden texts & all SEO are truly behind us. Search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing are investing billions of dollars into top secret algorithms to keep the search results for any given query spam free & relevant. Four of those algorithms are Google’s TrustRank, a way of assigning authority to a web-site or domain. We are going to outline the one easiest ways you can increase TrustRank, authority & hopefully general online visibility.

For only $10 a year, registering your domain for ten years shows search engines that you are serious about your business & domain. Spammers are renowned for registering cheap .info domains to do whatever disagreeable business they are planning & then letting them drop when they are caught. If you were spamming would you shell out your money to register your domain for ten years if you knew what you were doing would probably get you banned from the search engines?

Having a SSL certificate for all forms on your site shows search engines that you are serious about security & it assures users that the information they need is being sent over a secure channel. If you’re a web spammer, would you care about any security or privacy of your web-site visitors?

Quality paid & free directories show search engines you are willing to shell out sometimes massive bucks to promote your business & marketing online. Adding your site to Business.com and Yahoo Directory are too expensive annual fees for the average webmaster but the authority gained by both listings can make a giant difference. On the other hand, DMOZ listing showing search engines that a human by hand reviews your site & deemed to be worthy of classification among the best in it’s section.

Don’t hide behind domain privacy services if you don’t need to. There’s an evidences that search engines can see right through this “wall” anyway & it makes your site less trustworthy to normal visitors or customers. Make sure the Whois information matches the contact details on your site & in your privacy policy owner.

If you cannot receive a dedicated IP, make sure you’re not sharing your IP with any “less than desirable” websites. This is truly widely debated but the general consensus among SEO is that a static IP address is better.

If you can buy an aged domain, an older registered domain is always ranked better then a totally new domain. There are tools out there which can tell you if the domain has been dropped or previously registered.

There are some few technical reasons for this, which sums up nicely here. Getting a dedicated IP address can be a simple affair when calling up your hosting company & asking or at most paying a few extra dollars a month for the privilege & peace of mind.

It should be noted that after implementation, all over the above that has been noticeable increase in SERPS, with quality score & overall online visibility for not only our own sites but our clients too.

There’s no real way to check exactly what affects your site on through trusting factors, but you must stick to the common sense factors and real world methods to get an extra authority for your domain with small hard work.

Lots of people have reported that when we use the above methods, we can dramatically improve our SEO efforts with cleaning your website for good and try to lift the penalty of the search engines. Try them for yourself, you have absolutely nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Tags: ,

Today, there were lots of firms that are looking for high quality SEO services. Firms  seek better exposure for their websites on the internet and are pushing hard to out beat their competitors. However, those firms who are making decisions which are based on employees within the firm researching and finding the SEO company that is right for them are limited with ideas on what SEO is all about. It’s really hard to pick the right SEO company without any knowledge of what exactly you’re expecting. Make sure you do your homework before making your final choice.

You must think of what you would like to achieve with SEO campaigns and to check your budget to see if you’re ready to invest for an such an opportunity and look at what the returns could be. Or a small firm of yours wants to get to top rankings on the first page of Google, for just a couple of your critical searching’s?

SEO tasks can be easily finished through the good help of quality SEO tools. If your budget is tight right now, doing part of the SEO yourself can be logical. When you identify all your goals and resources needed to invest, you may have a chance of achieving results through honest and dedicated SEO companies that can took care of your business with the return you are looking for

1. Do they guarantee you top rankings on your website of any kind?

If it’s true, it’s a good reason to become suspicious. There are many factors in SEO that are out of control of any SEO firm completely. Although there is such thing that an SEO Company can give you a guarantee to achieving 1st page or top ranking, there are only very few that can pull this off successfully. So make sure the company can assure you this and have a fair agreement like a certain percent down payment first and the rest when the results have been achieved.

2. Enable to run background checks

Make sure the testimonials that the SEO company claims they have are legitimate and that the SEO company has been around for some time and has a good reputation on the internet. You can check this out by doing searches in Google for reviews or anything of that kind.

3. Is there any secret from them?

Ask some techniques that the firm will apply to do SEO for your website and their approach. If they’re not open about their approaches better to stay away from this service. There should be no shortcuts and secrets for legitimate SEO services. If the firm is not interested to disclose some of their knowledge, the truth is that they’re involved in some unreasonable practices that puts your website to a long-term risk.

If we follow these simple SEO points, it might give you a chance to increase returns on investment. There are still lots of good in promoting website services or agencies that can drive results and to take care of the website being focused by your client.

Bing’s Evil Plan On Making Google Fail

Tags: , ,

Have you heard about the latest on the internet relationship between Bing and Google? It is getting much more tense than ever. There are certain rumors that Bing has an evil plan for big websites that are indexed in Google. Bing is sick and tired of just being a second or third placer behind Google, who is the current leader in search engines. Their evil plan is to convince huge websites that already drive huge traffic, sales and leads that will make them a living, to de-index themselves to Google, and will purely focus to index and optimize with Bing on the internet. However, in return, they will give site owners a compensation like money for de-indexing with Google. But the question is, is this ethical practice and can site owners make a huge living with Bing? Probably not! There are huge certain reasons on why it’s not advisable to de-index with Google:

1. Your SEO career will be useless

From the time that you spent months to build your backlinks and performing SEO on Google, will you just throw it away? Definitely not advisable. Try to think of your precious hard work you have done for your website to be optimized in Google.

2. You lose more visitors and customers

If you de-index yourself this will mean you will have less visible pages for users to find you on the internet when searching for certain keywords, customers and visitors you have will drop as a result of this. All the backlinks you may of gained also to your site may slowly drop off.

3. Less motivation and focus

If you de-index with Google and shift to Bing alone, your motivation and focus will also be lost. Why? Because you will have to start all over again, it’s no good and will only let your precious time be wasted to get more customers on Bing. It’s not good to de-index with Google right now because they hold 85%  plus of the total search market and your main traffic source is from there.

Personally I can say that Bing’s plan to dethrone Google will not be successful. They will totally fail because of unfairness when it comes to SEO.
