This year in 2009 has been a very challenging year for all, and the amount of stories and internet growth has been a story in it’s own. More interestingly what I found was that the stories in 2009 were more dugg then any other story in any other year. Obama has been amongst the most dugg stories on the planet according to Digg.com with the Top Page having 4 stories in the top, and all stories averaging between 25-40,000 diggs.

Michael Jackson also getting to the top of the polls with 24,721 diggs and 2,894 comments. Also not surprising and on the list is Google which had a story dugg about a google search url shortening feature with over 11,000 diggs.

Making it to the 2nd page of the Top Diggs is Apple and one which seems to never go away Iraqi journalist throwing his shoe at George Bush with over 10,000 Diggs.

With a few more months to go until the end of 2009, who would like to predict the Top Digg by the end of the year! Shall Obama lose position? Personally I think the only chance he has on being beaten is if something crazy happened such as big changes in global warming or world war 3. What do you think?
