Everybody knows that Digg is one superior social bookmark. This is one of the top and famous social bookmarking sites ever existed here in the internet. It was mostly used by the webmasters and bloggers to “Digg” their blog posts or submit their websites and blogs to Digg. Digg is also considered as a social community or a social network, which you can edit your profile, making lots of friends, share lots of your stuff and many more. You can gain traffic here by means of submitting tons of blog posts that you’ve been published, and let everyone read your blog based on the niche or category you have stored in your blog. Many of the affiliate marketers right now are successful in terms of submitting their sites to Digg, because they know that many people are using Digg right now than the others like StumbleUpon, Delicious, Mixx, Reddit, Propeller and many more.
Digg also has a high PR, backlinks and targeted traffic worldwide. It’s free to join you know and they just need a valid URL of your blog or website which you can choose either news story, image or video. I would rather say we submit our content as a news story, because every time we update our blog and to publish a new post, it’s just like we get some latest news like a newspaper, and we update it by choosing a right category and many categories to choose from
Digg also make sure that you don’t have duplicate contents or any kind of plagiarism you’re attempting to. It’s not appropriate to submit a duplicate content that was already existed in the Digg database, or else you will get banned or removed from the database.
Digg has their own rules you know, as long we follow their Terms of Service (TOS) and guidelines to use them, we have no problem in getting traffic to them. Once you submit the blog or the blog post, it will be seen live in the Digg world, and people there may comment to your blog and to visit your real URL. If there are buyers out there, who are also members of Digg, they can check out your website and to see the products you’re promoting, and you will earn sales and revenue from their purchase.
This is one thing that affiliate marketers are so successful by using Digg, and it’s not yet too late for all of us, we could be like them just to use Digg for our business.

I have been using Digg for months now, and I’m totally satisfied about their service in submitting blog posts and websites too, especially photos and videos. I also made new friends there and they helped and guide me to use Digg in a better way. Thank you Daniel!

Great article. I generally get more traffic to seofool.com from reddit (around 13% of my site traffic actually) vs. around 5% from digg, but the bounce rate from digg is generally much lower than reddit. And people who find me from Digg generally view more pages of my site and spend more time doing so. Weird.

Thanks guys! One thing I also wanted to point out was that Digg has recently changed their SEO structure making some pages within their site “nofollow”. You can see more about this here – http://blog.digg.com/?p=864 . This is great as it makes the site less spammy and the links you obtain that are “dofollow” in the site will carry more weight!
