2010 SEO Competition

SEO competitions are a great way to get noticed in the industry and allow you to really test your own skills and see who is best

For those of you who are not aware, GSEO.net is a site of mine and I have decided to put together 2 SEO competitions. I will regularly add other competitions to the site so be sure to always keep an eye on it here.

I am giving away lots of prizes including a camcorder and cash giveaways along with 3 lifetime memberships valued at $1000 each. The current 2 competitions are running up until 31st of March 2010 so be quick to get ahead!

One of the competitions will involve getting to the 1st page for a certain keyphrase on one of your sub pages and the other competition will be for the top author in GSEO.net

Make Money Being A Cowboy

What is the use of Making Money if you can’t have fun by spending it right?

This is the opposite of making money as I was the one spending money today but it is worthy of mention as this is really a fantastic business model and just has to be shared.

What is also great is their website, I have not seen a website designed in flash done so well before! Really quite well done, I take my hat of to this as they really have their whole marketing down to a perfection from website all the way to service and entertainment is one of the best places I have been to in Thailand. You get taken on a tour through the ranch, it is set on an amazing 1000 acres of land. They go through and show you the milking process and factory along with cowboy show and all the fun in between!

1. Buying a ticket was easy as 1,2,3. You give them the money and they let you in!

2. The photo of me on the horse was really one of the highlights of the day. I really love animals and in particular horses. Unfortunately I could not give this horse a good ride but it was good enough for me to atleast go around the oval.

3. Now what would a day out be without having a photo taken with a couple of cowgirls!

4. My wife makes a great shop cowgirl model!

5. They have branded their milk really well, and very fresh and tasty I must say. We bought a weeks supply of milk, ice cream and yogurt!

6. Now that is a big cow! Definitely worth getting a photo taken next to it!

7. I have always wanted to give these 4 wheeler cycles a good bashing, today I made that reality!

8. Shooting down the bulls eye is not as easy as it looks!

9. Feeding the animals was fun.

10. This bird was very smart, he would ask someone in the audience a set of 2 numbers being 5 + 9 = 14 , then the bird would go and get those numbers and bring it to him.

11. Dog jumping through the hoola hoop.

12. The tastiest burgers I have ever had here in Thailand. They truly were!

13. Hey this is cool, A sign that says – “I Wanna Be A Cowboy”

15. On the way driving home, a few km’s away I had to stop and get a photo in front of this amazing runned down wrecked plane!

The way they market their video is to put a link into their description as a supporting backlink. Although they don’t care if Youtube uses no-follow or do-follow attribute, but the point is to gain more visitors, targeted traffic and revenue to their site through internet revenue income streams like Clickbank, Amazon, Adsense, etc.

The fact is, Youtube marketing really impresses them and to motivate their needs for making their business successful as they want. It needs to be taken to the next level, not just updating contents and submit them to article and blog directories, but also we need video just to attract viewers out there and to keep coming back for more.

This is how Youtube marketing was really the best to market your own video rather than any other competing social medias out there, and there’s nothing to be the best for business promotions than Youtube.

6 Great Ways to Sell Yourself

I Went out on a Little Adventure to Share with all my Readers a Tip or Two on Effective Ways to Sell Yourself:

1. You can go to any bar in the world, If anyone asks you why you are taking photos you can say your the CEO of a marketing company and that you are here to sponsor this bottle company by taking a photo with you and the bottle. Then you give them your business card, immediately without any exception they look at you as important and perhaps call you the next day. Or contact an alcohol company directly and tell them you would like to travel the world at their expense and promote their alcohol.

2. Book a conference room to get political candidates to join and tell them that there is much better options then Billboard and TV Advertising for this years budget and get the marketing department to contact you regarding online marketing for their community projects. Tell them that contacting you to have action steps taken rather then chit chatting is the key!

3. Forget about wine tasting, now their is fruit tasting. Put together a list of fruit juice companies to contact and send them through a photo of your obsession with fruit and offer your fruit tasting services. Also explain that by tasting their fruit you can give reviews in order to get a sponsorship deal or marketing contract. They may love your passion so much that they also let you set up an affiliate program for their juice in order to generate sales and then you can gain commission.

4. Become a Marilyn Monroe Fan on Twitter and write daily tweets about what you like about Marilyn and watch your followers grow. Before you know it you will have hundreds and thousands of fans. Once you have loads of fans you can sell anything you want to them including Marilyn Monroe bikinis.

5. Fight like a warrior, Act like a warrior. When you sell your product or service be strong and assertive and loyal and you will be respected. It isn’t until you become the ultimate champion that you will lead the way. So in the meantime atleast listen to your leaders. You may learn something.

6. Send out a newsletter to all your clients or website subscribers that are on your newsletter list allowing the most important clients to attend. In the newsletter mention for the 1st lot of clients who contact you before a certain date to confirm the booking may attend. Good to get your secretary to answer all calls and stretch a time frame within 2 weeks to place bookings around 2 hours apart for each client. During this meeting you may sell them your services.
