An honest review about Aweber

I have mentioned before why I think Aweber are the best email marketing program and of course how to use Aweber but without hyping this post I will give you my honest opinion and what I have experienced using Aweber.

First of all Aweber provides an easy way to give your readers the chance to opt-in to your email list allowing you to have full control of your subscribers starting all the way from your website.

When your website visitors subscribe to your blog for example you can then monitor them in your Aweber admin very easily and statistics are very nicely laid out. You can sift through email subscribers ones that didn’t open emails and send them out separately again with a different subject title.

There are other advanced options as well which once you become experienced enough I am sure you can easily figure out.

Overall I found that the options in Aweber are quite advanced and to this day I have been happy with them.

Here is a break down on some features:

Positives:

  • Cost is very reasonable at just $19 a month, $47 / 3 months or yearly at $194
  • Create unlimited email lists and on multiple sites.
  • Set time delays on automatic send outs
  • Over 150 HTML templates
  • Stunning, easy-to-create signup forms
  • RSS to email
  • Email analytics and QuickStats
  • Email autoresponders
  • and much more…

Negatives:

  • The only negative I would say if any is the fact that you have to pay an extra monthly fee for the amount of subscribers you have. For example if you have 501-2,500 subscribers you pay an extra $10 per month an do so on.

For me I am not that fussed over that arrangement as I know as you grow paying the extra monthly fee is not a question cause you will be making that much more money from having the potential of sending out to thousands of subscribers on your list.

AWeber has been in the autoresponder business for 12 years since 1998 with growing 80,000+ customers and they are the first program I tested a number of years ago, when I first got involved with online marketing.

Now you can get AWeber autoresponder 1-month trial for just $1.00 only, if you don’t feel AWeber is for you during the trial period, you can simply cancel it at anytime (trial period) you want. Grab your AWeber autoresponder trial now before they remove it, as this special offer once taken away at a time before.

Nice review, Dan. I too am a big AWeber fan. They've been around for a long time and that gives me confidence that they'll be be around for a long time.

One of the best features of AWeber is that it is supported by tons of other plugins, apps, etc. So you really can do a lot with it.

You’re right and because it has a lot of features, many will be using this application and to those who haven’t tried using this AWeber, why not giving yourself a try and learn its features.

I have accounts with both AWeber and getresponse.

They are largely the same in terms of features and functionality. The only thing to getresponse has over AWeber is a funky little iPhone app that allows me to see my subscriber statistics, and add new contacts to my mailing lists right from my phone.

Hey Brad, I like the iphone app idea sounds great, I am sure Aweber will probably do this too one day!

I would pay aweber extra for that. I like their service. :)

Aweber is great..most people who start today only know about that one software. But I'm that guy who started back in the stone age days about ten years ago..and I still use my same company for my email marketing.

Aweber is the new things and people are taking advantage of it, they have wonderful too that just automatic the process even more..

    Great stuff Dan!

I been working around with Aweber since a couple of months now.

I think it's the fundamental basis of a business. Having a way to reach the clients on a personal way and not spamming them.

Hope to see you around Dan :)

I think having AWEBER cannot be overeestimated. For me it is as simple as paying for a hosted wordpress over a free hosting option.

There are free options, but they do not come close to being worth it in the "long run"

AWEBER works like a champ and has great functionality, but the best part of it is reliability.

In my main niche I have built an email list of nearly 70000 people over 3-4 years. This list is how I mainly support myself. I wake up in cold sweat thinking of the company that hosts this list suddenly going out of business. Thankfully AWEBER is reliable and in no danger of this ever happening.

I would recommend everyone to start list-building as soon as possible and could not think of any other tool to use bu Aweber. (of course I AM biased, since it is what I have been using for years)
