Affiliate Marketing
I am always a believer in never keeping all your eggs in one basket, and this is why when starting out to make money online and looking around for high paying affiliate networks I like to have a few networks, so I’m getting paid from a few in case one is not as good as I expected.
You may of read my post about making $2,000 a minutes from blogging 30 mins a day, and the way I make money is from posting affiliate offers discreetly in my posts.
All these networks that I have listed are free to join as publishers or affiliates. If you have your own product then you will need to sign up as a merchant or advertiser and will cost you some money to be in the marketplace.
Here are a list of my preferred networks as follows:
1. Commission Junction – CJ.com have always been my main affiliate income source for my personal site, and find that the offers they run have held me tremendously get to where I am today. Their tracing is very clean, payments are always on time, although they do lack on support, they do eventually get back to you, and solve issues, but just takes a long time. Apart from that I am very happy with them.
2. Clickbank – recently I made a post on how to make money online promoting Clickbank products and I must admit, the network is one of my second best performers, The reason why I like them is their commissions are very generous ranging at around 75% on average. I make money both as a Merchant and a Publisher, although I am yet to experience much further earnings so far I am fairly pleased with the results and am looking at launching another one of my own products in there in the near future.
3. ShareASale – I recently posted about making money on ShareASale although it has great earning potential and you can earn on average 20% on sales, it is easy to use and support is great. You can also be a merchant on there and have your own product to sell there too!
4. PepperJam – I am fairly new on PepperJam and I have not yet given it a full shot, but from what I can see their are some nice affiliate offers in there, most in which are some I have never seen on other networks. They have also been around for a long time and as far as I know are very reputable. Hopefully soon I can have an update on the progress.
5. Amazon – I am making very small money on there, but the fact is I am making, I need to promote them more through my blog posts, to ramp up the sales. Over time when I read some nice books I can review them and post about thought of the book, that is the best avenue to make money with Amazon as most of their products are books or cd’s. Their commissions are also overall a bit disappointing at around 4-8% only.
